Noreps

The Norwegian Emergency Preparedness System is a contribution to the efforts of the UN agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to reach disaster areas without delay and provide them with the right kind of personnel and relief supplies.

Preparedness stocks of carefully selected Norwegian relief items and life-saving equipment have been established both in Norway and in disaster-prone areas. Supplies can be airborne within 24 hours. Teams of relief workers are available for taking part in relief operations within 72 hours.

Scan-Water provides the drinking water supply systems through the NOREPS system.
