The Institution Unit is a stand-alone system for producing safe drinking water at big households in rural areas, schools and clinics. It is simple to use and removes all disease-causing bacteria and cysts, and the concentration of heavy metals and pesticides are reduced significantly. The Nerox-02 Filter works by gravity, no electricity or power is required.
Maximum five Nerox-02 Filters can be installed in the upper container, giving the filtering system a capacity of approximately 75-125 litres per day. Raw water is poured into the upper container and the Nerox-02 Filter(s) will be immersed in the water. After a few minutes the filter primes itself and filtered water will flow into the bottom container. Safe drinking water can then be tapped from the Institution Kit.
